Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This policy explains how ALSI Solutions Informatiques collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with ALSIService.com, the ALSIService application, and its public showcases.

1. Privacy officer and scope

ALSI Solutions Informatiques, a sole proprietorship registered in Quebec, operates ALSIService.

The person responsible for the protection of personal information can be reached at info@alsiservice.com. This address may be used for questions, access or correction requests, withdrawal of consent, or privacy complaints.

This policy applies to entrepreneurs using ALSI, visitors to public showcases, and individuals whose information is entered into ALSI by an entrepreneur.

2. Information we may collect

  • User account: username, email address, hashed password, language, preferences, and legal acceptances.
  • Business: name, contact information, business address, country, province or state, tax numbers when provided, and showcase settings.
  • Clients, employees, and operations: names, contact information, service addresses, schedules, tasks, notes, services, expenses, invoices, and payment history.
  • Subscriptions and payments: plan, subscription status, amounts, currency, and technical identifiers supplied by Stripe. ALSI does not receive full card or bank account numbers processed by Stripe.
  • Showcases and leads: email address, message, language, lead status, and submission date.
  • Communications: messages sent to ALSI, support requests, and newsletter preferences.
  • Technical data: IP addresses and security logs that may be recorded by the server or our providers, browser type, login dates, and information needed to detect abuse.

3. How information is collected

Information is collected when you create or use an account, complete a form, configure a business or showcase, manage clients and invoices, make a payment, contact support, or use site features.

Some technical information is collected automatically through session cookies, server logs, and security tools, including Google reCAPTCHA.

An entrepreneur may also enter information about their clients, employees, and contacts. The entrepreneur must have authority to do so and provide any required notices.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, and secure accounts;
  • provide management, calendar, invoicing, payment, showcase, and lead-tracking features;
  • process subscriptions and facilitate Stripe Connect payments;
  • send invoices, messages, operational notices, and requested communications;
  • provide support, diagnose problems, and improve ALSI reliability;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • meet legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Information may be accessible to providers required to operate ALSI, according to their functions and our agreements:

  • Stripe: ALSI subscriptions, payments, connected accounts, fraud prevention, and financial compliance;
  • Brevo: transactional emails and messages from showcases;
  • Google reCAPTCHA: protection of forms against bots and abuse;
  • GoDaddy and its infrastructure providers: hosting, databases, logs, and technical security.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization or transfer subject to confidentiality safeguards.

6. Processing outside Quebec

Some providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Laws in those jurisdictions may permit lawful access to information.

Before a disclosure outside Quebec when required by law, ALSI assesses privacy factors and uses contractual and security measures designed to provide adequate protection.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

ALSI uses essential cookies to maintain sessions, remember certain choices, and protect account access. Google reCAPTCHA may also use cookies or collect technical signals to assess abuse risks. Stripe pages may use their own cookies under Stripe’s policy.

ALSI currently uses no advertising cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or other features from working.

8. Retention and disposal

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, while an account is active, and afterward for a period reasonably necessary to meet legal, tax, accounting, contractual, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Retention varies by type of information. Backups may temporarily retain copies after deletion. At the end of the applicable period, information is deleted, made unrecoverable, or anonymized when permitted by law.

9. Security safeguards

ALSI uses safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of information, including access controls, logical separation by business, password hashing, HTTPS connections, secure session settings, input validation, reCAPTCHA, and infrastructure logging.

No transmission or storage method is entirely risk-free. Users must protect their credentials and promptly report suspicious access.

10. Role of entrepreneurs using ALSI

The entrepreneur decides what information about clients, employees, and contacts is entered into ALSI. The entrepreneur remains responsible for accuracy, limiting collection, obtaining required authority, and responding to those individuals when the law assigns that responsibility.

ALSI processes this information to provide the requested service and does not use it for its own advertising.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent where permitted, deletion or de-indexing in legally defined situations, and portability of eligible information in a structured and commonly used technological format. You may unsubscribe from newsletters using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

We may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained despite a request when a legal obligation or exception applies.

12. Incidents and complaints

If a privacy incident occurs, ALSI takes reasonable measures to reduce risk, prevent recurrence, and provide required notices when there is a risk of serious injury.

Questions or complaints may be sent to info@alsiservice.com. We will review and respond within applicable time limits. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

13. Minors

ALSI is a commercial service for entrepreneurs and businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18 or for personal or family use.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to ALSI, our providers, or legal requirements. The date and version will be updated, and material changes will be brought to the attention of affected individuals by an appropriate means.
